Several leaks in the Arab League have revealed that the delegate of Saudi Arabia was communicating with the Saudi government to potentially stop oil exports as a means to influence voting in the Arab League. the Saudi home government is furious that this information has gotten out to the public and denies that these propositions were being seriously considered. The Saudi government has also communicated that they are very displeased that the Saudi delegate allowed these talks to be leaked to the committee.

Leaks have also revealed that Qatari, Egyptian and Djibouti delegations have apparently been planning to close ports and canals as well. All of these respective governments have denied that these plans were approved by them and that these leaks are nothing but rumors.
